Compressed air may contain mist in form of oil and moisture along with dirt (dust particles) which can harm the different applications as below:
- Cylinder / Solenoid valves get layer on the surface due to contaminated compressed air which reduces strokes of cylinder and will create malfunction in the operation.
- Contaminated air gets mixed with liquid Sulphur present in the furnace which may form acid i.e. H2SO4 and further it gets mixed with dust which results chocking of tubes of scrubbers/coolers.
- It decrease the production
- It causes sublimation in the Sulphur burner operation.
